We are so proud to be part of the stunning book Traditions Revisited: Modern Estonian Knits published by LAINE Publishing with this unconventional sweater designed by our dear friend Aleks Byrd.
Ajatu, meaning "timeless" in Estonian is knitted seamlessly from the bottom up, featuring set-in sleeves and a knitted fringe in two contrasting colours on the hem and a checkerboard stripe up the front of the body. The result recalls a classy Chanel style jacket, but it's actually a sweatern knitted in the round up to the armholes.
The original color combination uses:
A Chic Blend NAUTILUS as Main Color
A Chic Blend SENAPE as Contrast Color 1
A Chic Blend BERGAMOTTO as Contrast Color 2
