We were totally thrilled to see this version of the original pattern by Isabell Kraemer, that she knitted in A Pure and Simple Wool, with some stash and samples that she had left after working on other designs.
So when we developed the new shades this version of the sweater jumped on our to do list immediately.
Diggory Venn is a basic round yoke sweater , worked seamlessly from the top down. Starting with the neck ribbing, short rows are then worked back and forth to create a higher back neck. The yoke is then worked in the round to sleeve separation.
This is that kind of sweater pattern that you may customize adding or removing touches and detatil, so quite fun to work!
In our version we followed the pattern with just these modifications:

Please note that this yardage refers to the original Main Color requirements, that were here divided in 3 shades with the wideness above, you can easily choose to reduce or enlarge each block according to your taste, varying each shade quantity.

NEEDLES:
US 4 - 3.5 mm
US 6 - 4.0 mm
GAUGE:
20 stitches and 28 ROWS = 10 cm in Stockinette stitch
