FORAGER SHAWL

FORAGER SHAWL KIT

Description

The shawl that Susanne Sommers designed for our Advent Calendar 2024 is knitted sideways, from one tip to one short side of the triangle, with increases along one edge. The edge with increases is the top edge of the shawl. It is knitted in alternating sections of Garter stitch, with contrasting bobbles in the middle, and Brioche stripes. For each Brioche stripe, the colors are seemingly randomly combined, creating new color combinations. Each stripe is knitted in two-color Brioche or syncopated two-color Brioche, creating not only a change in color but also a textural break.
