EASY V Sweater

A Stormy Blend - DK

70% Abruzzese wool

DK (uk 2 ply) weight with 100g – 220m

Description

The Easy V sweater by Caitlin Hunter enchanted us as soon as it was released, and we found quite intriguing to use one of our bases for this project, and see the effect that would make different contrast colors.

We went for A Stormy Blend DK, which is so bouncy  that knits perfectly like a worsted weight, keeping in mind that this pattern is meant to be worn with a good bunch of ease.

The sweater is knit top down in the round and features a subtle V shaped neckline which transitions to a round colorwork yoke design. The colorwork is easy to work with short repeats and only 2 colors per row, making the knitting fun and relaxing while letting your color choices stand out as the star of this sweater.

This sweater is designed to have a relaxed, easy fit- perfect for everyday wear.

We chose a combination of some new shades in the Stormy DK range and opted for:

CONNEMARA as main color, and PEONIA, ABISSI and ALABASTRO as contrasts, yielding a pretty cold and soft mood.

If you feel like a warmer tones guy, maybe you may try LUMEN, MIELE and RAME, quite many possibilities in the range!
