MARINAI, sailors in Italian, is a Guernsey style boxy pullover. Designed by ERI SHIMIZU for A Pure and Simple Wool, this sweater is an ode to subtle stitching and simple structures, obtained with just knits and purls.
It starts from the center back and is knitted up to the shoulders, then the fronts are worked down. The front and back are joined at the underarm to be worked in the round down to the hem. Sleeves stitches are picked up around the arm opening and worked in the round to the cuff. The pullover can be worn WS out.
